Escape Code

This is our submission for the Boss Rush Jam 2023. 

In "Escape Code", you play as a skilled hacker who finds themselves trapped inside a computer simulation created by the evil A.I. 0VERS33R. You must battle your way through a series of computer bosses, each more difficult than the last, to ultimately escape the simulation and defeat 0VERS33R. These bosses are trapped behind the strongest defense known to man and machine, the CAPTCHA. To face the bosses you'll need to complete a CAPTCHA to free them from their digital prisons. As you defeat each boss, you'll grow stronger as you siphon code from them, granting you access to their special abilities. However, due to a glitch in the system, you are not able to choose how you activate these abilities - you'll simply have to make do with what you get. Can you hack your way out of the simulation and defeat 0VERS33R?

Goal: Beat the final boss and escape the simulation in the fastest time 

Controls: 

a or Left arrow - moves you left

d or Right arrow - moves you right

space bar - jump

right-CTRL - heavy attack

right-SHIFT - light attack
